Kuala Lumpur, 1 April 2026  – Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week returns for its third edition from 28 April to 3 May 2026, bringing together cocktail enthusiasts, industry professionals, and leading bars from around the world for a 6 days of celebration of mixology. Taking place across multiple venues in the city, KLCW 2026 continues to elevate Malaysia’s cocktail scene while introducing a broader audience to craft cocktails and fine spirits.

KL Divided Into 4 Areas
KLCW will turn Kuala Lumpur into a cocktail hub for a week, dividing the city into four areas:

  • Petaling Jaya (PJ) / Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI)
  • Bangsar / Damansara Heights
  • Kuala Lumpur City Centre
  • Chinatown

Each zone will feature its own events, culminating in the Festival Village celebration at Sentul Depot on 2nd May.

Global Names, Local Venues
KLCW’s City Takeover brings together a cross section of Asia’s most influential bar programmes, each reflecting their city’s evolving drinking culture through distinct techniques, ingredients and storytelling.

Local bars that will be hosting include Amazonas, Bā by Kinugawa, B.E.D., Bar None, Bar Trigona, Cabinet 8 KL, Concubine, Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, Frank’s, Four Siblings, Humboldt, Ikiya 2.0, Joloko, JungleBird, Lavantha, Lane 23, Moonbar, Penrose, Reka:Bar, RAW, Remedy, Soma, Three X Co, Up & Away and Wet Deck.

The lineup of visiting bars this year includes Aqua (TH), Asian Flush (CN), Bar Benfiddich (JP), Bar Raion (PH), Bar Us (TH), Boilermaker (IN), Carrots (ID), CMYK (CN), COA (HK), Cosmo Pony (ID), Dry Wave Cocktail Studio (TH), Gong Gan (KR), HIBORU (TW), Hope & Sesame (CN), LE ROOM at MAD HOUSE (TW), Montana (HK), Native (SG), Origin Bar (SG), Punch Room (JP), Quinary (HK), Raw + Atelier (VN), Salty Fish (ID), Somewhere Quiet (PH), Tell Camellia (HK), VIRTÙ (JP), Wing Lei Bar (MO), Workshop 14 (VN), Zest (KR), and ZLB 23 (IN).

Pickle Ball Opening Party
This year introduces a pickleball opening party at PLAYA Racquet Club on 19 April, setting the tone ahead of the week’s festivities. Framed as a relaxed daytime gathering, the event brings together the city’s bar community with cocktails by local bars served alongside casual play on court, positioning it as both a social opener and a soft launch into KLCW’s broader programme.

Festival Village at Sentul Depot
Experience the KLCW Festival Village at Sentul Depot on 2 May, from 1:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Guests can explore a diverse selection of cocktails from renowned brands, enjoy live music, participate in games, participate in masterclasses and watch engaging performances. This lively event offers an interactive celebration of cocktail craftsmanship.

Tipple Talks: A Food & Beverage Conference
This year, KLCW sets aside a full day at W Hotel on 1 May from 9.30am to 5pm, bringing together industry figures for a programme of education led talks and panel discussions. The sessions examine the evolving landscape of hospitality, covering themes such as culinary heritage, identity in modern hospitality, workforce evolution, the role of AI, and the growing influence of the creator economy on the future of food and beverage.

Speakers include sessions with May Chow of Little Bao (HK), Justin Shun Wah of Bar Leone (HK), Rachel Tann (50 Best Bars Academy Chair of South East Asia & Korea), Bastien Ciocca of Hope & Sesame (CN), McHayla Killoran of Virtú (JP), Pankaj Balachandran of Boilermaker (IN), Jon Lee of Penrose (MY), Indra Kantono of Jigger & Pony (SG), John Ng (50 Best Bars Academy Chair for: Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau), Taln Rojanavanich of Bar Us (TH), Katelyn Tan of Tatler Dining (MY), Jun Ong of Studio Jun Ong (MY), Priyanka Blah (50 Best Bars Academy Chair for: India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives), Jay Khan of COA (HK), Palm Supawit of Dry Wave Cocktail Studio (TH), and Ethan Liu of CMYK (CN), moderated by Nicholas Ng of Food for Thought & Tipple International (MY).

KLCW Cocktail Pairing Dinners
KLCW 2026 will also introduce an exciting lineup of cocktail pairing dinners with official dining water partners, S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, in collaboration with some of Kuala Lumpur’s best restaurants including Akar, Barkar, Bistro Lea, Fifty Tales, Ling Long, Nadodi, Pickle Dining, Roost, Tangram, Terra Dining, Topshelf, and Yellow Fin Horse.
