Kuala Lumpur 12 April 2026 – K-Pop fans are in for a spectacular weekend as K-Verse MY, in collaboration with Michin Shop MY, announces their most ambitious festival yet: K-VERSE: THE IDOL STAGE.
Taking place from April 17 to 19, 2026, at the Centre Court of Sungei Wang Plaza, this three-day extravaganza promises non-stop K-Pop entertainment, competitions, and live music from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.
Building on the massive success of their previous joint ventures—K-Verse: The First Flight, K-Verse: High School Club, and K-Verse: Underground—K-Verse MY and Michin Shop MY are raising the bar for the local fan community. This highly anticipated iteration is made possible by the generous main and venue sponsorship of Sungei Wang Plaza.
In celebration of their 50th Anniversary, the iconic mall is going all out to champion youth culture and the local K-Pop scene by exclusively sponsoring the event’s marquee activities, alongside support from Youth Buddy.
The Ultimate K-Pop Dance Cover Competition
The weekend’s competitive spirit will take center stage on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the K-Verse K-Pop Dance Cover Competition.
Hosted by experienced emcee Kimberly Soh, the competition is divided into two divisions:
- Category A (Below 19 Years Old)
- Category B (Open Category)
Dancers will battle it out for a massive prize pool awarded separately for each category:
- First Prize: RM3,000
- Second Prize: RM2,000
- Third Prize: RM1,000
The fierce performances will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of professional judges: William, Brenda, and Jaedon, who will also be performing on the special stage.
Free Mini Concert & Exclusive Fan Perks
The excitement culminates on Sunday, April 19, at 4:00 PM with a spectacular, free-entry Mini Concert.
The event is headlined by the captivating IVAN, a former contestant on the Chinese-Korean survival show Starlight Boys. He will be joined by special guest group VIISION (comprising Dylan, Yekang, Adrian, and Karry), who will be debuting a brand-new song live on stage.
The concert promises to deliver a true “Idol Stage” experience while proudly supporting homegrown Malaysian artists.
Dedicated fans will also have the chance to collect exclusive, limited-edition event photocards of the performers, distributed at random on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees must follow @kverse.my on social media to claim these highly sought-after collectibles.
A Full Festival Experience
Beyond the stage, attendees can dive into the ultimate K-Pop experience throughout the entire three-day festival.
The event will feature massive Random Play Dance sessions to get the crowd moving, alongside a dedicated Official Merchandise Vendor area packed with albums, merchandise, and fan goods to complete any collection.
