Genting Highlands, 7 May 2026 – The much-anticipated Kejohanan Sirkit Golf Piala Sultan Pahang 2026 (Pahang Sultan’s Cup Golf Circuit Championship 2026) will officially tee off this coming June, promising a thrilling series of elite-level competitions across the state’s most prestigious golf courses. The championship is held under the distinguished patronage of KDPB Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustata Billah Shah, Sultan of Pahang.

Organised by the appointed committee in collaboration with the Pahang State Council and the Pahang State Government, the 2026 circuit aims to uncover new golfing talents while fostering sports tourism and camaraderie among golf courses in the state of Pahang.

Tournament Schedule & Venues:
Leg 1: 27th June 2026 – Villea Rompin Golf Resort, Rompin, Pahang
Leg 2: 25th July 2026 – Royal Pekan Golf Club, Pekan, Pahang
Leg 3: 29th August 2026 – Royal Pahang Golf Club, Kuantan, Pahang
Grand Finale: 5th September 2026 – Resorts World Awana, Genting, Pahang
Categories & Prizes:

The championship features Men’s Gross, Men’s Nett A & B Medal, and Ladies’ Debut categories. Attractive prizes, trophies, and in-kind rewards totalling over RM150,000 are up for grabs, including the coveted Sultan Pahang Challenge Trophy.

Participation: The tournament is open to amateur golfers with a valid WHS Handicap Index. Participation is limited to 100 male players and 52 female players across the four venues. Registration fees start from RM3,000 for men and RM1,500 for ladies.

Official Launch: The official flag-off ceremony will be graced by YANG AMAT MULIA TENGKU ARIF BENDAHARA, TENGKU MUHAMMAD ISKANDAR RI’AYATUDDIN AL-MUSTAFA BILLAH SHAH, on 7th May 2026 at Resorts World Awana Genting. Media representatives are cordially invited to cover the event.

The 2026 circuit promises higher standards and greater participation from local amateur golfers, while also promoting local golf courses within the tourism industry,” said YB Dato’ Sri Shafik Fauzan, Chairman of the Organising Committee.
